The fund constitutes the personal archive of Emanuele Boaga, former General Archivist of the Order from 1983 to 2013, and collects notes, lectures, study materials, photographs, drafts, and drawings of exceptional interest due to the significance of his scholarly work within 20th-century Carmelite historiography. It is currently being reorganised and catalogued.

In addition to the Boaga Fund, the General Archive also holds other small personal archives, produced by scholars, university lecturers, and theologians belonging to the Order, who bequeathed their documents, studies, and original writings to the historical archive.
